Fiber Cement Felt are also known as asbestos cement felts and used for making asbestos sheets and pipes. The manufacturing process is the same as that of wet felts except
that the base cloth is made enormously strong using all-synthetic twisted
multifilaments. Coarse carded fibrous web are needled over it on a very
heavy duty needle loom. The finished felt is stabilized by heat-setting. |
This product range includes:
| VPFI 2000 : This design is predominantly used in Indian Asbestos
Cement Industry for manufacturing plain sheets. The base fabric consists
of 2 Ply Nylon Spun Yarn in cross machine direction and 4 Ply Nylon Multifilament
in machine direction. |

| VPFI 3000 : This design is extensively used for manufacturing
plain sheets. The base fabric consists of 3 Ply Nylon Spun Yarn in cross
machine direction and 4 Ply Nylon Multifilament in machine direction. This
design has higher strength and bulk. |

| VPFI 7000 : The design in highest for manufacturing Asbestos
/ Fiber Cement Sheets and pipes with Knuckled surface has tremendous sheet
laminating properties. This imparts higher sheet strength and smooth sheet
pick up. This characteristic makes it most suitable for high-speed machines.
The base fabric consists of 3 Ply Nylon Spun Yarn in cross machine
direction and 7 Ply Nylon Multifilament in machine direction. |
